The Green Job Bank recently announced the launch of a new service, which enables job seekers to find jobs at green venture-funded startup companies. These startups create an abundance of green jobs compared to most established companies. This is a hot job area, but the postings are scattered throughout the web. The Green Job Bank puts these startup jobs in one place for the benefit of the job seeker.
This service includes two key components, a directory of green startups and a directory of the venture capitalists that back them. Among some of the fastest growing and most promising startups are, EnerNOC, MiaSole, A123 Systems, OPower, Hara Software and Enphase Energy. Some of the most prominent green venture capital firms included in the directory are Khosla Ventures, VantagePoint Capital Partners, Rockport Capital, and Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers.
“The real growth in green jobs is happening within these pioneering companies. Many of them will become the leaders in their respective green fields,” said Bernard Ferret, founder of The Green Job Bank. “Our new service is a great resource which enables people hunting for green jobs to learn about these exciting new companies, and to search their open positions, all in one place.”
More than one in five companies in The Green Job Bank’s employer directory is a venture-backed startup. For many of them, still mostly unknown to the public, The Green Job Bank is the only website where their open positions are listed. The new service is available at http://www.thegreenjobbank.com/job-seekers/green-startups=
